Monique Yong is the Group Chief Human Resources Officer for Columbia Asia Group of Companies. She develops and executes the Group’s human resources strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the Group. She is an HR professional with more than two decades of experience holding several pivotal roles across a number of multinationals in various global leadership functions. She also has strong consultancy and leadership experience globally and regionally across various industries having been based in Switzerland, Hong Kong and Singapore previously. Monique holds a Master’s Degree in Strategic Human Resources Management from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. She is a member of CIPD and a certified HRDF trainer. She also serves as the senior council member of Gerson Lehman Group, Mentor for Lean In Malaysia and her alma mater: University of Southern Queensland, Australia.
