Description

The Industry Certificate in Bookkeeping Fundamentals guides students on the basics of collecting information, recording events, and organising records to make better decisions. Students will be introduced to the essential skills and concepts of bookkeeping and accounting. They will gain practical skills in numeracy including learning about rearranging simple equations as well as some important calculator skills. Additionally, they will acquire knowledge and understanding of the fundamental principles that underpin bookkeeping and accounting as well as the components of a journal entry—debits and credits—and the essential questions a bookkeeper/accountant asks in reviewing those transactions.
