Mr Prashanth Beleya graduated with a master’s degree in International Business and is currently pursuing his PhD with University Sains Malaysia in the area of Sustainable Supply Chain Management. His specialised training/consultation areas are closely linked to Sustainability/Green management, particularly Port Management, Contemporary Supply Chain and Logistics Management, Strategic management, HR in Supply Chain Management, and team management skills. He has more than 15 years of industrial and academic experience in logistics and supply chain having been associated in the seaport, airport, and logistics industries having served in Northport M Berhad and University Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR). During that tenure, he has conducted trainings for clients including MISC, POS, TESCO, Telekom Malaysia, etc. Apart from the niche Supply Chain oriented trainings, Mr Prashanth has also conducted team building and leadership oriented programs as a co-trainer for many organisations. He is a Chartered Member with CILT (Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport, UK) and a Certified Strategic Sourcing Professional (CSSP) with PASIA. He is currently a Senior Lecturer and Program Lead for Logistics Management in a private college in Penang. Mr Prashanth is noted for engaging participant interests through various initiatives. He has been recognised with the highest award in teaching/learning in his previous employment at UTAR by being awarded the 2017 Teaching Excellence Award. Mr Prashanth has demonstrated high levels of analytical and research processes to continuously update and blend academic and industrial information for the betterment of organisations. He is also a firm believer in using game-based tools in analysing real work scenarios and engaging participants during training sessions.
